<geek mood> A liger is a hybrid cross between a male lion and a female tiger. They look like faintly striped lions.
They have an unbelievable growth rate, basically they don't stop growing. They can live up to 25years old and... don't stop growing! They can be as long as 3m!!!

You wanna know why they keep growing until they die? mmmm go check this [link] for more detailed info, but basically the gene that tells the puppets to STOP growing is inherited from female lions or male tigers... so ligers can't inherit this gene and their bodies keep growing for evah.

The opposite, offspring of a female lion and a male tiger is called tigon and inherit the gene from both parents... and thus is smaller than them. A miniature liger
